What is recorded here

Kingston Isd is a crannog in County Clare, Ireland. It is one of many ancient artificial islands scattered across western waters, places where people built homes on pilings above wet ground. The name suggests a small settlement or trading post, perhaps a kitchen garden, a boathouse, or a hideaway from storm and tax. Whatever it was, it was made by hands, not nature.
