What is recorded here
Kilroughil Childrens Burial Gd stands in County Clare, Ireland, a quiet field where small lives ended before they could leave marks elsewhere. The children may have fallen from fever, birth or hunger, their names lost while the earth kept them close to the people who loved them. To walk past the site is to remind ourselves that burial was not invention but continuity, a way of saying the dead still belong to the living.
