What is recorded here

Discovered during archaeological test trenching (Excavation Licence No. 95E0235). The unlined bowl or furnace area of a small limekiln was initially uncovered. Further excavation revealed two stone-lined flues. A number of sherds of pottery with a possible 13th/14th century date were recovered from the backfill of the flues.
