What is recorded here
Kilmountain Cross Cave sits beneath Loughaderry in County Cork, a dark hollow where water and stone have spent centuries negotiating the shape of the earth. It may have given shelter to travellers, hidden vessels from storms, or simply swallowed the voices of anyone bold enough to speak inside it. The mountain keeps its own counsel, but the cave still waits for human breath to prove it is more than a wound in the rock.
