What is recorded here
Kilmactalway is a living graveyard in County Dublin where a roofless limestone church stands inside an ancient circular wall. The earthen bank pressing against the inner edge of that wall suggests the boundary existed before the church, marking sacred ground from an earlier time. You can still walk among the graves, step down into the narrow doorway, and watch light move across windows that were cut at different times for different reasons.
