Kilmacdonogh Church stood in a Cork graveyard until ruin claimed it by 1615, erasing its walls from memory before cartographers drew it. The 1842 map captured a rectangular ghost, but later editions reduced the building to the admission “site of,” proving that even stone forgets. Whatever prayers echoed there vanished without warning, leaving only buried markers and the quiet certainty that the church still belongs to the ground.

In graveyard (CO078-004001-). There are no visible surface remains of Kilmacdonagh parish church, shown as a rectangular structure on the 1842 OS 6-inch map, but marked 'site of' on the later editions of the map; it was in ruins by 1615 (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 268).
