Killiath Burial Ground is a children's grave yard on a Galway slope, its small L-shaped corner marked by set stones and bounded by field walls. It overlookes a stream, suggesting families chose a bright, living edge for their dead rather than a hidden one. The stones still stand in a quiet row, waiting for the names and stories that time has taken.

On a townland boundary on a N-facing slope overlooking a stream. This L-shaped children's burial ground (L 9m; Wth 7m) is defined by field walls at E and S and by a scarp at W and N.
