Three-arch rubble limestone road bridge over river, c.1800. Random rubble limestone walls with tooled cut-limestone triangular cut-waters to piers, and rubble limestone coping to parapets. Series of three segmental arches with cut-limestone voussoirs, and squared rubble limestone soffits having remains of render over. Sited spanning tributary of River Nore with grass banks to river.

Exhibiting a traditional construction in unrefined stone with dressed limestone details displaying expert stone masonry an appealing bridge representing an element of the late eighteenth- or early nineteenth-century civil engineering legacy of County Kilkenny makes a positive contribution to the aesthetic appeal of the local landscape.
