What is recorded here

Gateway, extant 1902, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of limestone ashlar piers on moulded plinths having ogee-detailed cornice capping supporting "Fleur-de-Lys"-detailed cast-iron double gates. Lane fronted at entrance to grounds of Kilcronagh.
A gateway forming part of a self-contained group alongside an adjacent gate lodge (see 12329010) with the resulting ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan setting at the entrance on to the grounds of the Kilcronagh estate.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
