What is recorded here
Jim Sheridan, born in Dublin in 1949, is the Irish filmmaker who shaped the souls of My Left Foot, The Field, and In the Name of the Father. He left Canada for New York, studied at NYU, and returned to Ireland to direct stories that exposed the bruises beneath ordinary lives. His cameras moved like memory: close enough to hear breath, far enough to let the watcher complete the shape.
