46 Castlegate in Jedburgh, Scottish Borders, is an 18th-century terraced house, old enough to have watched the town change several times. It may have held traders, weavers or ordinary families, though no single occupant is named. The house still stands on Castlegate, carrying that much of the border town into the present.
