Lt Col James Forbes-Robertson was a distinguished British Army officer who received the Victoria Cross for exceptional bravery in leading his battalion under intense enemy fire during World War I at Vieux Berquin, France. His leadership and courage exemplify the valor shown by many officers during the war.
