What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1880, having recent single-bay pitched roof extension to side (west). Pitched artificial slate roof having rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Rendered walls with render quoins, platbands and sill bands. Square-headed window openings with render sills throughout, having one-over-one timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening having glazed timber door surmounted by single pane overlight. Set within own grounds with rendered enclosing walls, having render capped square-profile gate piers and gate.
Its location overlooking the bay makes this building a highly visible feature of the local landscape. It retains charming historic features, including render detail and timber sliding sash windows which add to the character of both the house and the streetscape.
