What is recorded here

Crannog islands were ancient lake homes, built of timber and tradition. If this is one, Derrylea held a small world of its own, where people lived beside the water and the sky. The name is uncertain, but the idea is clear: a place set apart, made by human hands, and lost to time.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as ISLAND, possibly CRANNOG. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
