Inscribed stone (present location)

What is recorded here

Kilkea Demesne, County Kildare, Ireland: Lord Walter FitzGerald gathered several monuments, including this 16th-century inscribed stone from Aughanure, into a modern arcaded area south-west of the castle. The stone left its original place and became one voice in a private room of forgotten things. Its inscription still belongs to Aughanure, but its life now moves through Kilkea, where comparison and memory give it a new shape.
