Inscribed stone in Kildare

Late medieval limestone panels (KD022-029062-, KD022-029063-, KD022-029064-, KD022-029065- and KD022-029066-) set in the N transept wall of the modern Carmelite church may have originated in the earlier Carmelite Friary (KD022-029007-) immediately to the S, however, acording to Bradley et al. (1986 Vol. 3, 244-6), they are said to have come from the Franciscan Friary (KD022-029006-). KD022-029066- is a small rectangular panel (H 0.29m; Wth 0.20m) decorated in relief with an angel in a round-necked, pleated garment, wearing a head-band, and with hands joined.
