Inscribed slab in Toureen

Formerly situated at Toureen Peacaun monastery (TS075-023----) and currently unlocated. The cross-slab is listed in Waddell and Holland's (1990, 171, fig. 5.18) catalogue. The stone had been built into the internal face of the E gable of the church (TS075-023001-) and is recorded there in a photograph taken in the 1960s (Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 307).The stone is missing and is described by Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 307-08) based on Waddell and Holland’s description as a small slab (H c. 0.13m; Wth c. 0.19m) which was 'a fragment of a slab of unknown form. A fragmentary text was incised on the visible face, taking up most of the existing piece of stone'. It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 48 (ibid.).
