Inge Heybroek died in County Dublin, Ireland on 9 February 1956. The Dutch field hockey player had won bronze at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, striking once as a forward for the Netherlands. Hilversum gave him life, Berlin gave him glory, and Dublin took him forty years later.
