Infants Burial Ground in Eastwell, County Galway, holds unnamed children inside an ancient ringfort, transforming a pre-Christian stronghold into a shelter for grief that formal religion excluded. Moss covers small stones set across a narrow slope above the Kylemore River, while the local name cillín remains active in memory. The clash between sacred ban and parental love gives the site its quiet sadness.

On N-facing hillslope c. 100m S of road, and overlooking Kylemore River beyond it. A roughly hexagonal area (N-S 29m, E-W 27m) delimited by a low slab-built wall.
