Indicated marks the western edge of St. Pauls Church in Mount Argus, a living seam of the medieval Dublin watercourse that still drains toward Grand Canal Harbour. It is not a forgotten ditch but a working boundary, shaping the church grounds and carrying rain through the city. The name sounds clinical, yet the water performs an old function: measuring property, moving sediment, and reminding the neighbourhood that Dublin was built around flowing water rather than against it.

Named 'Watercourse' on the 1837 OS 6-inch map. This section of the medieval Dublin City watercourse forms the W boundary to the grounds of St. Pauls Church in Mount Argus. It runs on to Grand Canal Harbour.
