What is recorded here
Situated on a flat terrace sheltered by higher ground to the E and within a large field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated on the 1916 OS 6-inch map by a solid line. On inspection in 1999 this was found to be a circular enclosure (int. diam. 17m) of apparently modern construction defined by a loosely built stone wall with a gap at SE.
