What is recorded here

Indicated is a broken fairy fort on a steep Kilkenny slope, its southern and western banks still standing while northern earth disappeared entirely. The flat interior offers no clue about the hands that built it, only the shape of what remained when half the circle vanished.

On the crest of a steep SE-facing slope in a NW-SE valley in upland pasture, with good views all round. Only the S and W portions survive of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m). A short (5m) length of bank survives at SE (Wth 3m; H 1.5m). At N and E the bank has been entirely removed. An external fosse (Wth 3m; int. H 1.75m; ext. H c. 1m) also survives at S and W.
