What is recorded here
Marked as a small circular wooded feature (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 ed. (MA 64) of the OS 6-inch map and as a circular field on the 1915 ed. Situated on a gentle E-facing slope on the demesne land of Edmonstown House c. 270m to the SW, it is not visible at ground level in pasture. Tree-ring (RO008-009002-) is c. 40m to the NW.
