Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland. It is a circular earthen ring on high pastureland, standing 300m north of another ringfort. Its bank and ditch enclose a wide space, with a broad causeway entrance on the southeast. People may have lived there, feared it, or simply passed it by, but the earth still holds the shape of that choice.

In pasture on high ground, 300m N of ringfort (MA100-077----). Circular raised area (46m N-S; 44m E-W), enclosed by earthen bank and fosse (D 0.9m), with external earthen bank (ext. H 1.2m) N to E. Entrance with causeway (Wth 7.2m) on SE. Earthen field fence adjoins outer bank on N. Cultivation ridges and quarrying on N of interior. The above description has been derived from D.
