What is recorded here

Indicated is a large fairy fort in level Mayo pasture, its irregular boundary marked only by a wide shallow ditch rather than a proud stone wall. The site stretches nearly ninety metres across and keeps a possible southern entrance, suggesting people once moved through open grass instead of climbing a defensive rampart. Its gentle shape fits a place where ordinary life and local belief shared the same ground.
