The enclosure in Shancough (tirerrill By.) is in County Sligo, Ireland. It is a large rectangular boundary measuring 62.7m by 38.9m that surrounds Shancough Church. A sod-covered stone wall builds this limit with limestone slabs on both faces. The wall is 1.5m thick, rises 0.6m inside and 0.65m outside, and leaves a 2.4m gap on the north side.

This is a large rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 62.7m x 38.9m) surrounding Shancough Church (SL035-052001-). Its enclosing element is a sod-covered stone wall (T 1.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.65m) with an inner and outer facing of limestone slabs. There is an entrance (Wth 2.4m) on the N side. A furnace bottom was noted in the W wall.
