In tillage, on gentle ESE-facing slope. Depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as square enclosure on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Circular area (27.6m N-S) defined by scarp (H 0.4m) ENE->SW, with shallow intervening fosse and wide outer bank (int. H 0.35m to base of fosse; ext. H 1.3m); heavy overgrowth obscures line of enclosure SW->W; field boundary (int. H 1.6m; ext. H 0.9m) with external drain (D 0.4m) elsewhere. Interior slopes down to SE; overgrown with deciduous trees; c. 6m in from NW bank ground falls steeply for c. 4m before levelling off again. Levelled ringfort (12859) in adjoining field c. 210m to WNW; three circular enclosures (13655,13656,13657) in adjoining fields c. 220m to NNE, c. 60m to NE and 190m to SSW respectively.
