Listed as an 'enclosure' in the SMR (1986) based on cartographic evidence. A large oval-shaped enclosure (c. 80m N-S;60m E-W) surrounded by a water filled fosse/channel (Wth c. 7m). This is a designed landscape feature on Russborough House demesne.
