Indicated

On flat dry pasture, above bogland to S. A raised circular area (21m N-S) defined by an inner flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 1m; ext. H 2.9m) SW-SSE and by a scarp (H 1.3m) elsewhere. An external flat-bottomed dry fosse (Wth 8.5m) is evident SSE-ENE. A low earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.3m) follows the outer edge of the fosse SSW-NW. Large stones are incorporated into the inner earthen bank. The entrance (Wth c. 1.8m) is at E, revetted on its S side by large boulders. The interior slopes down to S. A NNW-SSE field boundary crosses the E half of the interior. The W two-thirds of the rath are under grass while the E third, to E of the field boundary, is overgrown with bushes and has coniferous trees planted along its edge. There is a Man-made underground passage (SL032-125002-) in the W half of the interior.
