What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland, where the earth still holds the shape of a ring. It is the kind of place people avoid at dusk, not from fear of men but from the suggestion that the ground remembers every footprint and returns them unchanged. The name itself points instead of explaining, as if the fort knows exactly what it is and refuses to say it twice.
