What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Oran, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular grass-covered area twenty-eight metres across towards the bottom of a gentle south-facing slope. An overgrown earthen bank four metres wide defines the perimeter, rising one metre inside at the north and one point one metres outside. A two-metre entrance appears at the east, while a field bank and hedge run outside the western edge.
Towards the bottom of a gentle S-facing slope of a broad NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.15m at S to 1m at N (upslope); ext. H 1.1m). There is an entrance (Wth 2m) at E, but no trace of a fosse. There is a NNE-SSW field bank and hedge outside the perimeter at W.
