Indicated (1838).

In poorly drained rush-covered grazing, on top of a narrow ridge. A slightly raised circular area (6.7m N-S; 6.6m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with an intervening fosse. The inner bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) has a low internal face. The fosse (Wth 2m) is shallow and flat-bottomed and marginally raised above exterior ground level. The outer bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.3m) is evident as a low compact rise with a well-defined external face. The overall diameter is 15m N-S and 15.5m E-W and it is almost completely engulfed in rushes. A ring-barrow (SL047-071----) lies c. 55m to E. This ring-barrow is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map.
