Indicated is a circular Bronze Age enclosure on a NW-facing slope outside Mooghaun hillfort, County Clare. Its double-kerbed wall and rubble core mark a deliberate dwelling or ritual space beside two smaller enclosures. The arrangement suggests a clustered human presence on the hillfort edge during the middle to late Bronze Age.

Situated on a NW-facing slope outside the middle rampart in the NW quadrant of Mooghaun hillfort (CL042-074001-). A circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 25m) defined by a double-kerbed wall with a rubble core. A slightly smaller enclosure (CL042-074009-) (diam. c. 18m) lies 7m to the W and another enclosure (CL042-074008-) lies c. 47m to the SW. A date in the middle to late Bronze Age is suggested for these enclosures based on similarities to enclosures of that date elsewhere in the region (Condit and Grogan 2005, 127).
