Indicated is an 18m circular enclosure on a northwest slope outside Mooghaun hillfort, built with a double-kerbed wall and rubble core during the middle to late Bronze Age. It sits beside two other enclosures, suggesting a small cluster rather than a lonely structure. People may have kept animals, stored gear or marked a household there, using the hillfort’s edge for visibility and protection.

Situated on a NW-facing slope outside the middle rampart in the NW quadrant of Mooghaun hillfort (CL042-074001-). A circular enclosure (int. diam. c. 18m) defined by a double-kerbed wall with a rubble core. A slightly larger enclosure (CL042-074010-) (diam. c. 25m) lies 7m to the E and a smaller enclosure (CL042-074008-) lies c. 22m to the SSW. A date in the middle to late Bronze Age is suggested for these enclosures based on similarities to enclosures of that date elsewhere in the region (Condit and Grogan 2005, 127).
