In tillage, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular area (diam. c. 18m) enclosed by broken line. Site lies c. 50m to NW of possible ringfort (12782). Slight depression noted in area of site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
