What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. Its name sounds like a pointer, as if the land still marks the spot for someone who forgot the way back. The trench may hold breath from every forgotten storm, waiting for a hand honest enough to touch it.
