What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular earthen ringfort in rough pasture on a southwest-facing slope in County Mayo. Its bank stands eighty centimetres high around a thirty-four-metre area, with a shallow external ditch. The shape suggests people lived there, resisted weather or marked territory before the land became pasture again.
