What is recorded here
Situated in a hazel wood on the N edge of a small ravine within a very extensive field system (CL009-059001-) spanning several townlands. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular enclosure was visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP 12/13). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be an enclosure (diam. c. 40m) defined by a drystone wall (H 1-1.5m) of apparently modern construction.
