What is recorded here

Situated in a flat river valley with land rising to the N and S. A mill is depicted on the Down Survey map as being on the S bank of a millrace, immediately N of the Ollatrim River. Lisbunny hall-house (TN021-030001) lies c. 180m S of the Ollatrim River. There is no visible trace of the mill, however, the millrace (Wth 4m; D 1m) is still intact. Uncut stone and boulders protrude along the S bank of the millrace, which, as depicted on the OS 6-inch map, meanders at the head and straightens out towards the tail. The mill is also mentioned in the Civil Survey as 'a mill and a rivolett running through the sd lands and 6 cabins' (Simington 1934, vol. 2, 257).
