What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. The soil may have held a farm, a temple or a child’s secret before the gods took it back. People still point at the ridge and refuse to build there, not from fear of death but from respect for a place that stopped answering questions long ago.
