What is recorded here

Indicated is a subcircular rath on a Galway ridge, thirty-nine metres across before a field bank swallowed its western edge. Trees were uprooted inside, scattering the soil and breaking the quiet shape of the fort. What remains is a low ridge of earth, half-hidden by agriculture, yet still large enough to have held lives, fires and fears. The fortress did not disappear so much as it stopped being seen.

On a ridge in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 39m, N-S 33.5m) defined by a low bank, overlain from S through W to NW by a field bank. Possible external fosse survivesoutside the field bank at SW. The interior has been disturbed by the uprooting of trees.
