What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. Its name points instead of claiming, as if the place refuses to be known on its own terms. The earth may have held a household before it became a warning, a border between the living and the forgotten. To enter is to be told the way out, not the way in.
