Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilgarve (ballintober North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. A circular grass-covered platform, 48m E-W and 46m N-S, sits on a gentle W-facing slope about 100m from the E shore of Grange Lough. An overgrown fosse, 3.2-4m wide at the top and 0.2-0.3m deep, defines its edge. Rath (RO018-023----) lies about 200m to the NW.
On a gentle W-facing slope, c. 100m from the E shore of Grange Lough. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 48m E-W; 46m N-S; H 0.9-1.2m) defined by an overgrown fosse (Wth of top 3.2-4m; Wth of base 1.6-1.8m; D 0.2-0.3m). There is a modern entrance at N. Rath (RO018-023----) is c. 200m to the NW.
