What is recorded here

On the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1900 revision there is a pronounced curving kink in the NE-SW townland boundary which forms the NE-E-SW boundary of a small roughly circular (diam. c. 46m) farmyard. The townland and farmyard boundary consist of a stone wall. The deliberate kink in the field boundary and circular form of the farmyard suggest there may be retaining the shape of an earlier circular enclosure.
