What is recorded here
In undulating pastureland. The source of this record is an oblong hachured area (c. 55m E-W by 15m N-S) indicated on the 1930 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is named 'Quarry (disused)' on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16). When inspected in 1984 all that was visible was a pit.
