What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort on the west side of the Carrigduff River, where a semicircular earthen bank still rises beside the pasture. The eastern half disappeared before the 1904 map, but the southern arc remains embedded in the field fence, overgrown and quiet. Local tradition treats such rings as thresholds rather than human works, inviting wonder about what lived there before the land was divided.

Semicircular arc (25.5m N-S) formed by earthen bank (H 1.1m) survivesS->N; incorporated into field fence system. Bank heavily overgrown.
