What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history thins into myth. Its name sounds like a pointer, as if the land marked itself for people brave or foolish enough to notice. The trail ends there, not from secrecy but age. What was built, buried or forgotten has returned to the soil, leaving only shape and suggestion behind.
