What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. Its name sounds like a pointer rather than a place, as if the land still marks something nobody remembers. The ridge may have held a farm, a refuge or a boundary before the story swallowed the fact. Whatever it was, the earth kept the shape while the witness disappeared.
