The fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Gorteenavalla is in County Tipperary, Ireland. It sits on a very gentle east-facing slope in a flat valley under pasture. The site has been levelled but remains clearly visible as a slightly raised circular area measuring 27.4 metres north-south and 26.3 metres east-west. A bank 3.6 metres wide defines the circle, standing 0.32 metres high inside and 0.7 metres high outside, with a possible 3.4-metre-wide entrance at the north.
Situated on a very gentle E-facing slope in a flat valley, under pasture. The site has been levelled but is still clearly visible as a slightly raised circular area (diam. 27.4m N-S; 26.3m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.32m; ext. H 0.7m) with a possible entrance (Wth 3.4m) at N. Field boundaries leading up to SW and NE quadrants, as depicted on 1st ed. and current OS 6-inch maps, have been levelled.
