What is recorded here

Indicated stands on the western edge of a rough terrace above the Caher Valley, a circular ghost thirty-three metres across that vanished before human memory. It appeared on maps in 1842 and 1915, yet by 1997 the ground held no trace of its walls. The mountain keeps the shape while the valley forgets the name, turning a marked boundary into an absent one.

Prominently sited on leading W edge of a terrace of rough grazing at the SW foot of Gleninagh Mountain overlooking the Caher Valley and River. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 33m) is hachured on the 1842 and indicated 1915 OS 6-inch maps. On inspection in 1997 there were no visible remains at ground level.
